Interaction Grants Program is intended to give companies and Canadian university researchers opportunities to meet, and to determine a problem that they will be able to solve in a research partnership. For a period of three months, the IG Program can provide up to $5,000 to support travel and meeting expenses for a subsequent research partnership..

Engage Grants Program promotes a first research partnership between university researchers and companies. University researchers will be granted direct project costs related to the research activities needed to solve the identified problem. An in-kind contribution from the company reflecting its involvement in the project is required. Grants can go up to $25,000 for a period not exceeding 6 months.

Collaborative Research and Development (CRD) Grants program gives companies the possibility of covering direct research costs (salaries, material, services, and travel expenses). Projects based on focused elements with short- to medium-term specific objectives will be considered as eligible collaborations. The industrial contribution is an amount equal to, or greater than, the amount granted and can be spread up to 3 years. Subsidies range from $10,000 to $500,000 per year
