Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) has revised the T661 claim form and guide (T4088) for claiming Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED).>.

After consulting claimants and other SR&ED stakeholders, Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) revised the last version (November 2008) of form T661 Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED) Expenditures Claim (RS&DE) and guide T4088.

The transitory measure that made possible for claimants to submit only part 2 of Form T661 for the 20 most important projects in term of monetary value will stay in force. This revision is effective now and includes a new table (part 6) which will summarize costs for every project involved in the claim. Starting August 1st, 2011, every claimant will have to use the new T661 Form.
